MY DAILY EMAIL SENT ON JANUARY 4, 2015
Howdy Everyone,

Moved the clocks up one hour last night and I am now on Caribbean time. Today we were in port in the Bahamas. We were at Princess Cays, a private island owned by Princess Cruises. Well, they only own a part of the island. The island is really Eleuthera. It is a 110 mile long and 2 mile wide island. Below is a picture of us arriving at Princess Cays from the tender boat this morning.

The only things to do at Princess Cays is beach related activities, which does not interest me at all. So I took a tour of the island. The locals running the tour did a nice job of showing us their island, but there is really not much here to make a sightseeing tour. One of our first stops was at St. Luke's Anglican Church in Rock Sound.

Our next stop was at the Ocean Hole at Rock Sound. Looks like a little pond but it is 600 feet deep and loaded with fish. We threw bread at them and they popped up out of the water to get it.

Below is the government building on the island.

The next stop was at Tarpum Bay. You can see how clear the water is here.

Next we stopped and had lunch at a local restaurant. They demonstrated a local dance for us.

It was a four hour tour. They dropped us back at Princess Cays. I did a short walk around the resort area. It's a pretty beach.

Didn't spend long here because I had to get back on the ship to see the Colts game. Below is the Ruby Princess from the tender boat.

I spent the rest of the afternoon sitting around the pool watching the Colts beat the Bengals on the "movies under the stars" jumbo screen. I assume they will be showing next Sunday's game with the Broncos there too. They showed all four wildcard games this weekend.

It's a day at sea tomorrow. We will be in St. Maarten on Tuesday.
