and Murray, Kit and Rascal too   On July 14, 1997 our family grew by two when we acquired two adorable six week old kittens. We named them Oscar and Felix. Typical brothers, they love to play and fight with each other. They are very affectionate and a joy to watch.       The above pictures were taken in July 1997 when they were about two months old.  Kit - September 1997 Kit passed away in December 2005 at the age of 18 years old.  Murray - May 23, 1999 This is the newest member of the household. His name is Murray, he is an eight-week-old kitten who joined our family on Saturday, May 22, 1999.    Oscar & Felix pretty much turned into lazy lumps when they outgrew their playful kitten stage. But Murray remains full of personality and playfulness to this day. The photo below was taken in my front yard in October 2007. He likes to sit in the front yard and guard the property and watch the people go by.  In the spring of 2002 a couple of stay cats gave birth to a couple of litters of kittens in our back yard. Well, all the mamas and babies have since moved on to other places, all except the guy pictured below. We call him Rascal, and he's now a member of the family too.  Below is a picture of Rascal with his sister and two brothers back in the summer of 2002 a fews months after they were born. Rascal is the one on the upper left.
