JANUARY 2002
On Tuesday, January 22, 2002 I flew out to Las Vegas.
The picture below was taken from my hotel
room at the new Aladdin Hotel.
It was nice and sunny for my days in Las Vegas,
but also very windy and quite cold. I decided to
drive out to Death Valley National Park for the day.
Pictured above is Dante's View, which looks
down on Badwater which is pictured below.
Badwater is the lowest point in the United
States at 280 feet below sea level.
Pictured above is Artist's Drive, also in
Death Valley National Park.

While out west I also spent a couple days with
my sister and her family. Pictured above is
their new home in Dixon, California.
